Description | The Houqua was a 600 ton clipper of A A Low's fleet, built by Brown and Bell of New York in 1844. Named after a famous Chinese merchant. Henry Coleman was her first captain, but made only two voyages before retiring to Nantucket. This logbook documents a voyage from New York to Guangzhou. |
