Description The logbook of the ship George details a voyage from Salem to Calcutta and back (June 1835-March 1836). Master was Benjamin Balch; log keeper was [Thomas A Robbins?]. It is a daily log that describes wind, weather, location, and sightings of ships and porpoises. Log does not continue while in port. Contains accounts dated 1844-1845.
