Description A series of instructions to Benjamin Shreve, supercargo of the Comet, from various American merchants. They discuss the current market for Chinese goods in America, and give instructions on what he should purchase in Canton, depending on prices there. The ledger also contain the individual accounts of these different merchants, and information on the ship's expenses.
